Funny short videos for learning German

Apart from actually studying the German language, it’s good to watch German movies (or just German TV, because all the movies are dubbed in German), to listen to radio, to read small, easy stories written in German and so on.

1st Step:

One of my favorite TV entertainers is Martina Hill. She got really famous for Knallerfrauen, some very good comedy sketches, really underrated. One episode is about 30 minutes long, but on theĀ Knallerfrauen Youtube Channel the sketches are posted individually (about 2 minutes each) and it is tiring to see them like this. Anyhow, you can take a look and maybe buy the whole Knallerfrauen series. These is a good start for those who want to get familiar with Germans and their language. The good thing about these sketches is that they don’t talk much and you can certainly understand the pun without German knowledge. Anyhow, most of these youtube videos have english subtitles, so yeah, they are pretty easy to follow.

2nd Step:

Once you are familiar with the language and you are ready to hear some more german words you can go to Martina Hill’s personal Youtube Channel where she posts some funny, approximately 10 minutes long, videos, where she mostly talks. These videos are harder to understand for those who just started learning German, but they have english subtitles, so it’s easy to watch them.

Hope this helps! Have fun! German language is great!
