Even cotton is polyester nowadays… :/

I was very disappointed to find out that my new make-up remover pads aren’t made entirely of cotton.

I couldn’t find my old pads, so I bought some unbranded new pads because I thought it should be a very basic product, nothing could go wrong, right? Nope.

I sensed a different feeling on my skin when I used these new pads, as if they would make my skin sensitive, like an allergic reaction. Also, they absorbed more micellar water, thus making me unnecessarily use more of the other product.

When I read the label, I was shocked. It consisted in 70% cotton and 30% polyester. How could it be good for my skin to rub that polyester onto it?!

I am very disappointed and I will always from now on read the label of a supposedly cotton product.

Finally a 100% cotton pad

Fortunately I found a new brand of cotton pads, which is actually bio and contains 100% cotton.

The difference between the bio one and the polyester one is enormous. The bio feels amazing on skin, it doesn’t scratch. I highly recommend it!
