REVIEW: Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream
I received this Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream as a gift. Because I have long, fine hair, prone to split ends, I use it in combination with this Moroccanoil treatment. I mix both products in my hand and I apply to my lengths (hair wet), then I blow dry or leave it to dry by itself. The styling cream is supposed to hydrate the hair and also have an frizz-ease effect. It hasn’t got any “hold” power. Although it does hydrate and does have an anti-frizz effect, it doesn’t do wonders. BUT I never met a product that did wonders to my hair and I can truly say this is the best…

REVIEW: Balea Anti-Spliss Serum Repair + Pflege
It’s been so many years since I’ve been using this serum. It is definitely one of the best hair products I’ve ever had and it is really cheap if you think about it: only 3 Euros. They say it is a professional serum, but it costs as much as any other drug store hair product. So, this is the one and only Balea Anti-Spliss Serum Repair + Pflege (anti split ends serum): I apply this product right after washing my hair, when the hair is still wet. It really does prevent split ends, but it won’t stick together the old split ends you already have (and I don’t believe in products that…

REVIEW: Bioderma Micellar Water Hydrabio H2O
The product: Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water, Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Solution It is suitable for “dehydrated sensitive skin”. According to Bioderma’s website, the product is supposed to: Combines very high cleansing power and unparalleled tolerance Cleanses and removes make-up from the face and eyes Soothes and decongests and respects the skin balance Produces a feeling of instant freshness Non-rinse My skin type: I have mixed skin type. It is, as strange it may sound, both greasy and dry. It also gets flaky. If I apply a regular hydrating cream, the skin gets super greasy and in a few hours the flakes are back. If I apply a solution for…

REVIEW: Cattier Lip Care – My favorite average lip balm
Why do I love the Cattier Lip Care Balm? Although the balm isn’t 100% BIO, it does contain 100% natural ingredients of which 52% are BIO. So it is pretty safe to use it on your lips in the long run. The Cattier lip care doesn’t smell funny (unlike other balms…). Its scent is discreet and seems natural (doesn’t taste like medicinal herbs either). Its smell and taste are really pleasant. It is non-sticky. I hate lip balms that are too fluid and sticky. It just feels right on the lips. I also like the green and white package. Since I tend to use a lot of lip balm, I prefer…

Fav nail polish color: Rimmel London “Berries and Cream”
Over the years I got quite the “collection” of nail polish colors. Almost 10 years ago I saw this photo and I thought it looked very nice and I must have something similar to it. I didn’t get the cat, but I got the nail polishes 😀 Anyhow, years passed, many little bottles went to trash, others took their places, but I realized (as I’m sure most girls do) that I only use one or two colors, while the others rest unused until they dry out. The nail polish color I used most was a dark “browny” red from a local brand and it was really bad, chipped instantly and…

REVIEW: Rimmel London 60 Seconds – Does it work?
I am a big fan of Rimmel London nail polishes. They have beautiful colors, they are cheap and they don’t damage too much the nail and don’t chip easily. Rimmel London has a special type of nail polishes, called “60 Seconds” and I think another type called “60 Seconds Super Shine” but I am not sure if there is a difference between them or not. So, the real question here is: Does it really work? Do nails actually dry in 60 seconds? Well, yes and no. Mostly no. They dry in almost 60 seconds only the first time you open the bottle (right after you’ve bought it) and only if you’ve…

REVIEW: OPI Top Coat Vernis de Protection
I’ve been using the OPI Top Coat Vernis de Protection for about 6 years, so I might as well share my opinion about it. What they say it does: For a beautiful shining finish to your OPI manicure. The good side: The nails last really long. It really, but really, extends polish wear with no chips whatsoever for at least one week. The bottle doesn’t dry out. I don’t have time to use it every time I do my nails and, as you can see in my picture, I still have some product left and I’ve had this bottle for about 2 years. Some people complained on the internet that there…

REVIEW: The Body Shop COCONUT and SHEA shower creams
I was very excited to receive as a gift these 2 cute little shower creams: The Body Shop Coconut Shower Cream and The Body Shop Shea Shower Cream. I tried each one of them once and I decided to write a review. My general opinion was that they are good products, more hydrating than regular shower gels, but a little bit too pricey for what they have to offer. I will write below my impressions about each one of these shower creams. The Body Shop -Shea Bath & Shower Cream The scent is a little bit masculine. It is very beautiful. I couldn’t say it is my all time favorite scent,…

My favorite lipstick of all time: Max Factor Lipfinity (020 angelic)
I didn’t use to wear lipsticks because I tend to smudge them and in just a few minutes my lips would look horrible. I also have very dry lips, so I must use lip balm all time. It seemed that I had no chance in wearing lipstick and sometimes I really wanted to have colored lips. Then the miracle happened. About 5 years ago I’ve discovered the Max Factor Lipfinity lipstick in the shade 020 angelic. In fact, it was a friend who gave me this lipstick as a Christmas gift. She was a big fan of this lipstick and she had been using it for years. I remember very well the day…

REVIEW: Clinique Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliating Cream
This is by far the most expensive shower gel (not a gel actually, more like a cream) that I’ve ever had, although I wouldn’t say it is by far the best one I’ve ever had, but it definitively makes top 5. In Germany it costs 32 EUR but I in U.S.A. I found it with 26.50 DOLLARS. 😐 I don’t know what’s the deal, but anyway, it is an expensive product. Pros The best thing about it is the action it has on the body. It really (but really) makes the skin smooth. Its consistency is the best of any other exfoliating cream I’ve ever used. The exfoliating grains are perfect (as number,…
