Chris Isaak – Wicked Game versus HIM’s cover and its crazy amount of videos
Do you remember that strange, romantic song by Chris Isaak – Wicked Game ? It was released in 1989 and had great success. The band HIM made a cover of this song in 1996, and, once again, had great success with it. I personally like both versions. The Chris Isaak one is more suprarealistic, more arty, more alien. The HIM version is more commercial and somehow I think I liked it better. But, the point of this post is that I was surprised to find out that HIM released two different videos for Wicked Game: one for Germany and one for the rest of the world. Ville Valo: An interesting cover of “Knowing me, knowing you” of ABBA
Hey! Do you remember Ville Valo, a metrosexual dude singing in a soft rock band at the turn of the Century? All girls were crazy about him. Well, now he is 41 y.o. and still singing. In 2016 he released an interesting cover of Abba’s song “Knowing me, knowing you”. Check this out, it sounds pretty good.
