Uma Thurman’s eyes in Pulp Fiction famous scene
There is this scene in Pulp Fiction: It always reminded me of something. Of a painting maybe, a painting of Jesus on cross maybe. I don’t know if Tarantino thought about a specific work of art when he shot this frame, but it certainly is a great great picture. An amazing picture I would say! Plus Uma Thurman’s blue eyes are mesmerising! Anyhow, the only work of art prior to Pulp Fiction, with the same exact theme, that I can think of is this photo created by Man Ray. Lust and love – This Year’s Valentine’s Day
I’ve been having this painting in mind for a while now, thinking it would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. The painting was created by Martine Emdur, a contemporary artist. This is her instagram account. After watching her gallery I’m not sure about my breathing… I feel like drowning. I particularly like this painting because it evokes both love and sexual appeal – a great combination for a great relationship. DISCLAIMER: Unlike my previous story about a certain Cucaracha who eats avocados and poops guacamole, these stories about Watzmann and Wolpertinger are real Bavarian folktales.
