There is this scene in Pulp Fiction: It always reminded me of something. Of a painting maybe, a painting of Jesus on cross maybe. I don’t know if Tarantino thought about a specific work of art when he shot this frame, but it certainly is a great great picture. An amazing picture I would say! Plus Uma Thurman’s blue eyes are mesmerising! Anyhow, the only work of art prior to Pulp Fiction, with the same exact theme, that I can think of is this photo created by Man Ray. Pulp Fiction is one of my all time favorite movies. I’ve seen it many many times and each time I enjoyed it. It’s a brilliant movie, very catchy and interesting to watch, very original and unlike any other movie.
