  • What Santa Paws Brought Me and My Cat For Christmas

What Santa Paws Brought Me and My Cat For Christmas

Hi, everyone! A few days ago I was visited by Santa Paws! Me and my cat Midi received very cute gifts. I got a Yves Rocher Festive Shower Gel and Midi got a Whiskas treat. Please notice my cute little Christmas tree with the gifts 🙂 .

The Yves Rocher Festive Shower Gel smells really nice. It is part of the Yves Rocher Christmas Collection with “Marvelous Berries”. I’ve used it with a big, fluffy massage sponge and it made tons of foam, which I liked a lot. There are 2 things I like most about this product:

    • It has 98% natural ingredients;
    • Its cute, Christmassy package.

Midi hasn’t eaten his gift yet, but I am sure he will love it!

Until Midi eats his gift from Santa Paws, this nosy lemur wants to see what we got for Christmas.

It may seem he is trying to steal Midi’s gift, but in fact he is just checking. He is a really nice guy, and so is Santa Paws who got us these lovely presents!

DIY Bookmark from a box of chocolate

I am a big fan of Lindt boxed chocolates. I bought this very nice looking chocolate box – Lindt Champs-Élysées.

I had been wishing for it for a while and I was very happy to finally purchase it. I ate all the chocolates and they were really good, although I prefer smaller chocolates. I guess they are suitable for a bigger person, but I personally prefer them to be smaller, like those from this box:

This is a box of Lindt Mini Pralines. The chocolates are half size and there are 2 chocolates of every kind, so it is really cute to share it with another person and eat the chocolates together.

Anyhow, the Champs-Élysées chocolates were very tasty and I liked the box SO MUCH, I just couldn’t throw it away. So I had an idea: I cut it and made a beautiful bookmark out of it. Look how great it is!

It would have been a real pity to throw the box away…

Every time I read a book, I use this bookmark and it makes me happy.

  • Creative Christmas cupcakes with a hilarious twist

Creative Christmas cupcakes with a hilarious twist

While surfing on Boredpanda I came across this article about some funny Christmas cupcake ideas.

There aren’t any recipes posted in that article, only some images. Most of those cupcakes require a 3d printer or you can manually create them, but it would be a nightmare. Anyhow, even if most of them are really nice and I would love to serve my Christmas guests with them, since they are really hard or nearly impossible for common man to make them, I saved only those who I thought they looked cute and were easy to make. Take a look:

I guess these adorable little paws aren’t hard to make and they look awesome.

    Here is another one:

    And then, this one:

Tell me they aren’t cute! (I showed them to my husband and he asked me what these last cupcakes are supposed to be. They are funny snowmen, of course!).

And here is the promised hilarious twist. On Boredpanda, the top comment for this picture of the snowmen cupcakes was this: “Everybody be cool. This is a robbery! said the cupcakes”.

  • Very cute video: If you’re happy and you know it say meow

Very cute video: If you’re happy and you know it say meow

I’ve watched this clip last night, before going to bed. It was SO CUTE! It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a cute video, plus this type of cat with black and white fur is my favorite!

Please watch it with SOUND ON.

There are many similar clips, but I genuinely believe this one is the best because:

    1. The woman sings really nice
    2. The cat is very relaxed
    3. The cat meows really nice and at the right moment

If you’re happy and you know it say meow!

Surprise guest rests on the Subaru Forester’s hood scoop

Today I was sitting in my car, preoccupied with my phone, when suddenly I heard a noise. Something definitely hit my car.

I raised my eyes and saw a big, beautiful feral tomcat. He didn’t saw me and he just sat down, with his back at me, looking at the building. When I took my phone to take him a picture, he heard me and turned his head for this nice photo:

The thing is that here the weather is cold. On the other hand, the hood scoop is the warmest part of the hood and I had just turned off the engine. So this majestic guy thought he would spend a nice time sitting a little while on something warm and cozy.

In this time of the year, my Subaru Forester always  has dirty paws prints on its hood because it is the only car with a scoop on my street and the cats definitely prefer to sit on it rather than on the other cars. I think these “animal prints” look very funny. I love them!

P.S. The poor tomcat didn’t crack my windshield. A stone chipped it and then the crack spread all over…

  • A strange habit of New Yorkers: the morning coffee

A strange habit of New Yorkers: the morning coffee

It’s been a while since a little problem keeps bugging me. It is about the way New Yorkers are depicted in movies regarding to their morning coffee habit.

I’ve observed that in movies people tend to get up, get dressed, go out and buy some coffee, then return home and drink it. Really, what’s the problem with New York people?!

There are tons of ways in which you can make your own coffee. Simple ways and more complicated ways. Ways for everyone. Isn’t it easier to get the coffee package, take some coffee into a spoon, put it in your cup and then fill it with hot water? (I guess this is the simplest way to make a coffee). Or you could just buy yourself an espresso machine… Really, it is very simple. A little kid could do it.

It surely is way more complicated to get dressed and go out to buy a fricking coffee.

I am well aware that some of them, during working days, prefer to get up, get dressed and on the way to work just grab a cup of coffee from any coffee-to-go station. But this is not what I am talking about. I am referring to the precise situation depicted in movies where two persons make love and in the morning one of them goes out to buy some coffee.

So, my question: why does it seem that New Yorkers are unable to make coffee for themselves? And please don’t tell me that the one from town is better, because you could literally buy some extremely good quality ground coffee and with it you will drink a very good coffee. So why do they act like this?! This is nonsense!

  • Till Lindemann feeding birds…

    Till Lindemann feeding birds…

    Hi everyone!

There’s a twitter account I’ve been following intermittently for a while now. It is called Rammstein Belgium and it surely does a great job following Rammstein’s activity, but it kind of focuses on Till Lindemann, Rammstein lead singer and song writer and I don’t mind at all…

Anyhow, they posted a video which totally swept me off my feet. Look at how cute it is!

Till is feeding the pigeon from his own mouth! OMG! 💕

He is so cute and romantic…

  • A beautiful Christmas gift ❤

    A beautiful Christmas gift ❤

Today I had lunch with a person I am very found of.

She is a lovely lady, very kind and we work really well together.

This Christmas she went over the top with the present she gave me. I absolutely liked it!

As you can see in the picture, there is a beautiful indian scarf made from silk and cashmere. It feels soft to the touch, it has wonderful colors and it is a real pleasure to wear it.

There is also a very chic looking wallet, made from camel leather. I think it is very extravagant.

Both of these two items were bought from a local indian shop. There was also an After Eight chocolate, which I love because it is not very sweet and the package is cute. On top of this, there was this little Santa Claus, very funny, trying to hang a garland.

This gift really made my day.

❤❤❤ I am grateful for my friend and her generosity. ❤❤❤

  • My first post

    My first post

    Hi!

This is exciting! This is going to be my first post on this blog. I’ve given it some thought and I am still not sure what subject I should approach. Should it be a product review? Should it be something about art, music? Maybe a book I’ve just read?

I know! It’s going to be about a gift that an unknown neighbor gave to me (or to anyone who was in the right place, at the right time).

The neighbor left some books for anyone to pick them up (this is a common custom in Berlin for those who want to give some books to someone else). I looked at them and they were some volumes about the history of art. Great books! I took them without second thoughts. Thanks unknown neighbor!
