REVIEW: Moroccanoil Treatment Original
There is a big fuzz about the Moroccanoil Treatment Original product. I’ve been using it and, as you can see, it is Lemmy approved. I’ve tried many many serums for my hair, but none seemed to have a real effect on it. Just to state a few of my (almost) negative reviews: Wella Oil Reflections – Luminous Smoothing Oil Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum I am not saying that these products are bad, it is just me that didn’t feel an improvement of the hair with these products. BUT, with the Moroccanoil Treatment Original serum I did feel an improvement. Here are the PROS: less frizz…

REVIEW: Pukka teas
I received some Pukka teas and I liked them a lot. This is what I got: All of these teas share a sweetish taste, especially the “Love”, “Detox”, “Night time” and “After Dinner” ones. They all leave on the back of the tongue this sweet taste, which dominates all the other inflexions. “Three chamomile” is very nice, feels “healthy”. It tastes as if a nice forest lady gave you a cup of tea and you drank it in her cottage… right before she would murder you and mix your blood for witchcraft purposes. Joking 😀 The only Pukka tea I didn’t like was the turmeric one. But I don’t think…

REVIEW: Korres Shampoo Almond and Linseed for Dry or Damaged Hair
I got this Korres Shampoo Almond and Linseed from a drugstore. It was the first time I saw somewhere this brand. I got the shampoo for dry/damaged hair, which contains almond and linseed. The bottle looks like this: It was a good shampoo, I didn’t get dandruff from it, nor split ends. It was a pretty good experience. I didn’t buy it again because it didn’t impress me either. It was just one of the many other OK shampoos. I continue my quest in finding the perfect shampoo for my hair, but if you don’t really care, then the Korres shampoo is definitely a good choice.

REVIEW: Moroccan Oil Shampoo after 1 Month of Usage
There are several types of Moroccan Oil Shampoos: Moisture-and-shine Shampoo Fragrance Originale (and another 2 types of fragrances) Hydrating Shampoo Repair Shampoo Smooth Shampoo Color Shampoo Curl Enhancing Shampoo I’ve been using the first one, the Moroccan Oil Moisture and shine Shampoo, the one with the original fragrance and I’ve already written a first impression review about this Moroccan Oil Shampoo. That review contains also my impressions about the Moisture and shine conditioner, which I’ve been using together with the shampoo. Now, after 1 Month, my thoughts about this shampoo are: it smells amazing; the foam feels nice and luxorious; good for fine hair it is gentle with the scalp (the Moroccan Oil Shampoo is…

Lust and love – This Year’s Valentine’s Day
I’ve been having this painting in mind for a while now, thinking it would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. The painting was created by Martine Emdur, a contemporary artist. This is her instagram account. After watching her gallery I’m not sure about my breathing… I feel like drowning. I particularly like this painting because it evokes both love and sexual appeal – a great combination for a great relationship. Although this is somehow an irrelevant information, I also personally think that this painting depicts Gavin Rossdale and Sophia Thomalla (despite the fact that the woman in the painting doesn’t have tattoos, I do think it is about Sophia. It was created when they…

Why would anyone in this world want to wear polyester socks?
Ugh… Every time I go shopping for socks I must spend my time searching for the right materials. About 95% of the socks I find on the market, ranging from random hypermarkets to expensive brands, contain a certain amount of polyester. I understand that polyester is cheaper, but in my opinion it is absolutely wrong to wear polyester socks. They are completely useless. They cause rashes to the skin, suffocate the skin and doesn’t let it breathe, making it sweat and are useless during winter because they don’t keep warm. Polyester socks are good if you need something really cheap, for a really short time. But that’s it. If you…

Darwin Awards: Eating Corn On The Drill + Chaplin’s Gig
In the famous movie Modern Times (created in 1936) there is this scene where Charlie Chaplin eats corn from a rotating drill. It is in fact an “eating machine” that disturbs the poor dude. No harm done though. And the scene is very funny. Almost 100 years later, some “Challenge” emerges among the Darwin Awards competitors, where people have to eat corn on the cob off a drill… Sooo, here is a successful dude eating corn on drill: And here are some epic fails: Girls do it too ^^ Well, the point is stupid people are funny and you should never attempt to eat corn (or anything else for that matter)…

REVIEW: Bioderma Micellar Water Hydrabio H2O
The product: Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water, Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Solution It is suitable for “dehydrated sensitive skin”. According to Bioderma’s website, the product is supposed to: Combines very high cleansing power and unparalleled tolerance Cleanses and removes make-up from the face and eyes Soothes and decongests and respects the skin balance Produces a feeling of instant freshness Non-rinse My skin type: I have mixed skin type. It is, as strange it may sound, both greasy and dry. It also gets flaky. If I apply a regular hydrating cream, the skin gets super greasy and in a few hours the flakes are back. If I apply a solution for…

My favorite cat breeds
All my favorite cat breeds are natural breeds or almost natural (the ones that were bred for their specific beauty, like Ragdoll, not for some so-called “funny” health problem…). My favorite cat breeds are the following: Domestic short-haired or long-haired cats I really really like domestic short/long hair cats because they are a natural breed without health problems, they are smart, affectionate, great hunters, independent, cute and funny. Tuxedo cats This specific one from the GIF is famous on the internet. I call it “Tuxedo cat lift me up” 🙂 . This black and white cat is very very loving. It is also a domestic short/long hair cat, but I…

REVIEW: Cattier Lip Care – My favorite average lip balm
Why do I love the Cattier Lip Care Balm? Although the balm isn’t 100% BIO, it does contain 100% natural ingredients of which 52% are BIO. So it is pretty safe to use it on your lips in the long run. The Cattier lip care doesn’t smell funny (unlike other balms…). Its scent is discreet and seems natural (doesn’t taste like medicinal herbs either). Its smell and taste are really pleasant. It is non-sticky. I hate lip balms that are too fluid and sticky. It just feels right on the lips. I also like the green and white package. Since I tend to use a lot of lip balm, I prefer…
