    My favorite dog breeds

    I once read a joke on the internet:

    “If a labrador was given three wishes it would be eternal supply of food, eternal stomach, and more food”.

    LOL 😀

    There is also this clip with a dog competition and a Golden Retriever…

    Well, this is why Labradors and Golden Retrievers are definitely not my favorite dog breeds. 🙁

    Some people like these naughty and food obsessed dogs, but I definitely not like them. It is a mystery how these dogs got to be guide dogs for blind people (in movies at least, because in real life I saw that blind people use German Shepherds).

    The 2 breeds I dislike most are the Retrievers because of their low intellect and I also dislike the French Bulldog because it has so many health problems and I can’t really believe the fact that people are still allowed to breed these poor dogs that will lead a life of pain.

    Anyhow, The German Shepherd is my favorite dog breed. It is a very beautiful dog, very smart, obedient, healthy, has pretty good life span. I really like them!

    Another dog breed that I like a lot is King Charles Spaniel. These are really cute dogs, but they are not as intelligent as the German Shepherd. They are indeed very beautiful and one day I would like to have such amazing companions.

    I also absolutely love Border Collie. If you take your time to search Youtube you will see how amazing they are herding sheep (they will also herd your toddlers… LOL). They are truly wonderful dogs. Some say that the average dog has the intelligence of a 2 years old human, but the Border Collie is as intelligent as a 4 years old human being.

    Yeap, these 3 are my favorite dog breeds:  King Charles Spaniel, German Shepherd and Border Collie 😀

    Cats and Christmas… What a great combination! ❤❤❤

    Everyone knows cats must murder the Christmas Tree and it’s very funny! Well, their intentions aren’t really bad, it’s just that the tree is cute, shiny, new, meaning it is a very interesting toy for the cats.

    Wreck the tree and blame the doggies, Falalalala lalalala 🙂

    I found some funny photos on the internet with cats and Christmas and I share them here because I absolutely love them!

    The kitty is now in charge of the city. But he is a good ruler, you can actually see that people are having fun in his proximity.

    I was doing some shopping at the mall and suddenly I see a guy getting some attention from the ladys. The girls were stopping by and talking with him. I took a photo. Can you find the kitty? 🙂

    So the guy was sitting on the bench with his mega super duper cute cate! He was looking at his phone, while his cat was looking with zero fear at the people passing by.

    I went to the guy and asked him if I could pet the kitty and he said yes. The kitty was incredible big and sociable. Very very nice kitty! 😍 😍 😍

    Funny short videos for learning German

    Apart from actually studying the German language, it’s good to watch German movies (or just German TV, because all the movies are dubbed in German), to listen to radio, to read small, easy stories written in German and so on.

    1st Step:

    One of my favorite TV entertainers is Martina Hill. She got really famous for Knallerfrauen, some very good comedy sketches, really underrated. One episode is about 30 minutes long, but on the Knallerfrauen Youtube Channel the sketches are posted individually (about 2 minutes each) and it is tiring to see them like this. Anyhow, you can take a look and maybe buy the whole Knallerfrauen series. These is a good start for those who want to get familiar with Germans and their language. The good thing about these sketches is that they don’t talk much and you can certainly understand the pun without German knowledge. Anyhow, most of these youtube videos have english subtitles, so yeah, they are pretty easy to follow.

    2nd Step:

    Once you are familiar with the language and you are ready to hear some more german words you can go to Martina Hill’s personal Youtube Channel where she posts some funny, approximately 10 minutes long, videos, where she mostly talks. These videos are harder to understand for those who just started learning German, but they have english subtitles, so it’s easy to watch them.

    The funny meaning behind Rammstein’s Feuer und Wasser lyrics

    “Feuer und Wasser” is the 10th song from the album “Rosenrot” by German band Rammstein, released in 2005.

    If you listen this song but you don’t speak German, you will hear a deep and profound song, as if it is was about the meaning of life or something like this. Maybe you already know that “Feuer und Wasser” means “Fire and Water” and you might think that the song speaks about them metaphorically, where they are some kind of yin-yang. Anyhow, here is the song (the only normal version I found on Youtube – unfortunately it doesn’t have an official video):

    The funny thing is that the song is about a man who swims around in a swimming pool and he sees a beautiful, attractive woman swimming too. What happens next is more likely to take place in his head, overdramatizing (in a hilarious way) the fact that she doesn’t notice him.

    So, there are 2 things that make this song really funny:

    1. The contrast between the seriousness of the music and its silly lyrics
    2. The exaggeration of the man’s feelings towards the unknown woman

    Sophia Thomalla is a German socialite. She is 28 y.o. and despite the age gap, she was Till Lindemann’s girlfriend and then Gavin Rossdale’s. She has a lot of tattoos and one of them is Till’s face tattooed on her arm. Pretty strange I’d say…

    Anyhow, her infamous tattoo is not the point of this post. The point is her extremely funny hat I’ve seen on her Facebook page. She looks happy with this hat and I would love to have one. I wonder where she bought it from…
