Do you remember that strange, romantic song by Chris Isaak – Wicked Game ?
It was released in 1989 and had great success.
The band HIM made a cover of this song in 1996, and, once again, had great success with it.
I personally like both versions. The Chris Isaak one is more suprarealistic, more arty, more alien. The HIM version is more commercial and somehow I think I liked it better.
But, the point of this post is that I was surprised to find out that HIM released two different videos for Wicked Game: one for Germany and one for the rest of the world.

I definitely prefer the German version. It is bold and funny, definitely worth it!
