REVIEW: John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum

I bought the John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum hoping that it will make my hair easier to comb, that it will prevent split ends and that – obviously – it will ease the frizz.

I used it for about 6 months (a little bit really goes a long way) so I feel that I can properly review it now.

    What I liked about it:

    • You really need just one-two pumps. Although there is not much product in the bottle, the product will last a lot, so it is not expensive to use. I used to like very much another hair serum, but I was shocked to see how quickly the bottle emptied (I am talking about Loreal Serie Expert Lipidium Serum)
    • Helps detangle the hair
    • Maybe, just maybe, there is a tiny little bit less frizz
    • I didn’t feel that it actually helps prevent split ends, but it didn’t promote them either.

What I didn’t like about the John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum

    • I didn’t feel a significant change in my hair appearance or hair health after using this hair serum.
    • The package has way too much plastic.

    Will I buy it again?

No, I will search for a better serum.

REVIEW: Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy – KERATIN REFILL

I tried this Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design serum because a friend who has very beautiful hair (sleek and shiny) recommended it to me. She told me this serum makes wonders, so I used it just the way she uses it. Here is a photo with the products (she also lent me an argan oil). Lemi tried them first and was satisfied (as you can see, he’s got amazing fur), so I was very keen to try them myself.

Before washing my hair, I also applied some argan oil (just as she does) and I left it for about half an hour, then I washed my hair with shampoo and applied some balm. Before blow drying my hair, I applied this Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy – KERATIN REFILL serum.

Unfortunately, for my thin long frizzy hair, this serum was a disaster… 🙁

My hair looked good for about 10 minutes, then slowly got frizzier and frizzier, until it looked like a total mess, worst than usual.

I don’t know what to say about this Keratin Refill serum. Maybe it works for certain hair types, but for my hair type it certainly doesn’t work. Why am I certain? Because another friend with similar hair type as mine tried herself the serum and got the same spooky result.

Our friend who borrowed us the serum and who has sleek and smooth hair has other hair type. Her hair is straight, not wavy, and it is thicker. But I think her hair would look good without any hair serum… so, what’s the point of Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy – KERATIN REFILL? I don’t know… maybe I am not fair to this product, but I do believe that if you have thin, long, wavy and frizzy hair, this product isn’t suitable for you.

In time, I’ve tried a lot of hair serums in hope of finding a good one that would fight against split ends and would make my hair less frizzy and more shiny. You can check here my other reviews on other serums:
