  • REVIEW: Collistar Shampoo Supernourishing

What is this shampoo supposed to do?

They say: “Much more than just a shampoo, this product is an actual treatment which deeply nourishes the hair, leaving it soft and shiny.” The company also says that the Collistar Supernourishing Shampoo “nourishes, strengthens and protects, leaving hair soft, shiny and manageable”.

OMG I am so annoyed and sick and tired from this deceptive lies in the description of a product. Why can’t companies just say what the thing really does? Plain as that?! Who the f. cares if you trick a few people to buy your sh**? No one is going to buy it again! Never!

    What it really does

At first, it pretty much makes your hair look like an ugly broom. It makes the hair stiff and frizzy.

Also, the most annoying part is that it makes my scalp itchy and gives me dandruff.

After washing my hair with the Collistar Supernourishing Shampoo, my hair certainly doesn’t look nice. I am extremely disappointed with this product considering the publicity they make. If only they would invest that publicity money into a better product…

    ALTHOUGH….

The interesting fact about this shampoo is that after I started washing my hair with a better shampoo and from time to time I also used Collistar, my hair did look good. Now, that I finished the bottle, I think it is not as bad as I said it was in the beginning. It just needs to be interchanged with a better shampoo.

Does it at least prevent split ends?

I don’t really know what to say. I don’t have many split ends, but I do my best to prevent them, by using a lot of serums and hydrating creams.

Does it get better if you apply hair balm?

    Yes, it definitely does.

At first I was really upset with this shampoo, then it got better.

I don’t think I will repurchase it, and I somehow feel that I’ve been unfair with it. Maybe it is just my scalp and hair that don’t really get along with this shampoo. Maybe it will be good for you. Although, if I use it interchanged with Morrocanoil shampoo and if I apply balm, my hair looks really nice. I really have mixed feelings about it…

REVIEW: Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy – KERATIN REFILL

I tried this Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design serum because a friend who has very beautiful hair (sleek and shiny) recommended it to me. She told me this serum makes wonders, so I used it just the way she uses it. Here is a photo with the products (she also lent me an argan oil). Lemi tried them first and was satisfied (as you can see, he’s got amazing fur), so I was very keen to try them myself.

Before washing my hair, I also applied some argan oil (just as she does) and I left it for about half an hour, then I washed my hair with shampoo and applied some balm. Before blow drying my hair, I applied this Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy – KERATIN REFILL serum.

Unfortunately, for my thin long frizzy hair, this serum was a disaster… 🙁

My hair looked good for about 10 minutes, then slowly got frizzier and frizzier, until it looked like a total mess, worst than usual.

I don’t know what to say about this Keratin Refill serum. Maybe it works for certain hair types, but for my hair type it certainly doesn’t work. Why am I certain? Because another friend with similar hair type as mine tried herself the serum and got the same spooky result.

Our friend who borrowed us the serum and who has sleek and smooth hair has other hair type. Her hair is straight, not wavy, and it is thicker. But I think her hair would look good without any hair serum… so, what’s the point of Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy – KERATIN REFILL? I don’t know… maybe I am not fair to this product, but I do believe that if you have thin, long, wavy and frizzy hair, this product isn’t suitable for you.

In time, I’ve tried a lot of hair serums in hope of finding a good one that would fight against split ends and would make my hair less frizzy and more shiny. You can check here my other reviews on other serums:
