Fav nail polish color: Rimmel London “Berries and Cream”
Over the years I got quite the “collection” of nail polish colors. Almost 10 years ago I saw this photo and I thought it looked very nice and I must have something similar to it. I didn’t get the cat, but I got the nail polishes 😀 Anyhow, years passed, many little bottles went to trash, others took their places, but I realized (as I’m sure most girls do) that I only use one or two colors, while the others rest unused until they dry out. The nail polish color I used most was a dark “browny” red from a local brand and it was really bad, chipped instantly and…

REVIEW: Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum
The Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum was the most expensive hair serum I’ve ever bought. I paid 36$ for 30 ml. Before buying the product, I watched many of the Kerastase’s own hair tutorials and it seemed that the product makes wonders. I am writing this review after I used almost all of this product, so this is definitely not a first impression review. Also, I took this photo below after I finished the Kerastase serum and bought a new, Wella, serum. What does Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum promise to do? On their website it sais that the product is: “A high-shine polishing serum that perfects all hair surfaces with touchable…

REVIEW: Yves Rocher Sérum exceptionnel – Cheveux sublimés & fortifiés
I always use some kind of serum for my hair, but I am never satisfied by any of them, so I always look for something better. This time I bought the Yves Rocher Sérum exceptionnel – Cheveux sublimés & fortifiés, the motto meaning that it should make your hair stronger and nicer looking. I was very disappointed with this product because it did absolutely nothing for my hair, except making it a little bit sticky. It didn’t prevent split ends, it didn’t calm my frizzy hair, it didn’t make it more shiny or “sublime” and my hair definitely didn’t feel “stronger”. Also, because this is a sticky serum, I had trouble…

REVIEW: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
I got this hair serum hoping it would make my hair: smooth, condition and seal hair strands wonders to make hair silky, shiny and frizz-free in any weather These statements are written on Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum’s web page. I generally don’t believe in “wonders” and I don’t like when companies promise “miracles”, but I couldn’t find anything better, so I bought this Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. I have long, thin, very frizzy hair. Serums generally work better for thicker hair, but I really hoped it would do something for my hair. But after using it… I was like: Yeap. It did almost nothing. The frizz was still enormous. Also, after…

REVIEW: Rimmel London 60 Seconds – Does it work?
I am a big fan of Rimmel London nail polishes. They have beautiful colors, they are cheap and they don’t damage too much the nail and don’t chip easily. Rimmel London has a special type of nail polishes, called “60 Seconds” and I think another type called “60 Seconds Super Shine” but I am not sure if there is a difference between them or not. So, the real question here is: Does it really work? Do nails actually dry in 60 seconds? Well, yes and no. Mostly no. They dry in almost 60 seconds only the first time you open the bottle (right after you’ve bought it) and only if you’ve…

REVIEW: OPI Top Coat Vernis de Protection
I’ve been using the OPI Top Coat Vernis de Protection for about 6 years, so I might as well share my opinion about it. What they say it does: For a beautiful shining finish to your OPI manicure. The good side: The nails last really long. It really, but really, extends polish wear with no chips whatsoever for at least one week. The bottle doesn’t dry out. I don’t have time to use it every time I do my nails and, as you can see in my picture, I still have some product left and I’ve had this bottle for about 2 years. Some people complained on the internet that there…

REVIEW: A nice little champagne – JP Chenet
I gave a try to this little guy at a family party: JP Chenet Demi-Sec. It costs somewhere around 4 EUR (but the bottle is really small). Obviously it is not an expensive champagne, it is pretty affordable and you can find it in any supermarket, but it is not the cheapest either, so I had some hopes about it. Fortunately, my hopes were fulfilled. The champagne was really good, it had a great aftertaste and the sparkling effect was the best. I also liked about it that it had it had a screw cap. If you are a clumsy person, this little bottle comes in handy. 🙂 Although my experience with…

REVIEW: Lindt Pralines Classic
Lindt pralines have been for a long time my favorite! I tried various Lindt chocolate boxes and I even made a bookmark out of one 🙂 This chocolate box from the image below is very popular and you can find it in the majority of stores. I bought this box several times. I wanted to take photos of half eaten pralines, so you could see what’s inside them, but then I realised it would ruin the surprise. Half of the experience of eating these pralines is the surprise. Even if you read the little book, you will be still surprised by the taste and ingredients and consistency. What I liked…

REVIEW: Petrus Aged Red Belgian Beer
I got this Petrus Aged Red Belgian Beer because I was trying new beers and I thought this one sounds funny… “Aged Red”. It is kind of expensive (around 3EURS) and I expected a good quality beer. It was indeed of good quality. It had a nice smooth foam and the perfect consistency. I also liked the fact that it isn’t extremely sweet. What I absolutely liked about it was the color: really red. Red as the blood of your enemies. The only thing that bothered me about it was that it is a VERY strong beer… it has 8.5% alcohol concentration… too much for me. Some people said that it has…

REVIEW: Macarons de Pauline Assorted Box (Strawberry, Chocolate & Pistachio)
Hi guys! Ever since there is this hype about macarons, I’ve tried some here and there but, except one time, I never really liked them. I don’t understand this craze about macarons, they are just sweet, puffy, fruit flavored biscuits… I know, I know, they should be good when of good quality, but they are not (in my opinion). They look good though… very photogenic little cookies. This time I’ve bought one box of Macarons de Pauline Assorted with the following flavors: Strawberry, Chocolate and Pistachio. They are made in Belgium. They are pretty expensive considering there are only 3 macarons (around 3 euros). Unfortunately, I didn’t take very good…
