    REVIEW: Moroccanoil Treatment Original

    There is a big fuzz about the Moroccanoil Treatment Original product. I’ve been using it and, as you can see, it is Lemmy approved.

    Moroccanoil Treatment Review

    I’ve tried many many serums for my hair, but none seemed to have a real effect on it. Just to state a few of my (almost) negative reviews:

    Wella Oil Reflections – Luminous Smoothing Oil

    Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy

    Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum

    I am not saying that these products are bad, it is just me that didn’t feel an improvement of the hair with these products.

    BUT, with the Moroccanoil Treatment Original serum I did feel an improvement. Here are the PROS:

    • less frizz
    • almost zero split ends
    • easy to comb and style
    • smells great
    • doesn’t weight down my fine hair

    The CONS would be that it is not enough to style the hair. I also need a styling cream and that all the PROS, while being true, aren’t very powerful. Well, yes, the frizz is less, but… I still have frizz. Anyhow, all in all, it is a good product and it definitely helps your hair in looking and actually being better.

    Also, because I didn’t really think I would like it when I bought it, I got a small bottle. The small bottle doesn’t have a pump, so it is a little inconvenient to use it. Next time I will get the big bottle…

    I’ve also been using the Moroccanoil Shampoo for a while and I think I will momentarly stick with this brand. I kind of like it.

    REVIEW: Moroccan Oil Shampoo after 1 Month of Usage

    There are several types of Moroccan Oil Shampoos:

    • Moisture-and-shine Shampoo Fragrance Originale (and another 2 types of fragrances)
    • Hydrating Shampoo
    • Repair Shampoo
    • Smooth Shampoo
    • Color Shampoo
    • Curl Enhancing Shampoo

    I’ve been using the first one, the Moroccan Oil Moisture and shine Shampoo, the one with the original fragrance and I’ve already written a first impression review about this Moroccan Oil Shampoo. That review contains also my impressions about the Moisture and shine conditioner, which I’ve been using together with the shampoo.

    Moroccan Oil Shampoo Review

    Now, after 1 Month, my thoughts about this shampoo are:

    • it smells amazing;
    • the foam feels nice and luxorious;
    • good for fine hair
    • it is gentle with the scalp (the Moroccan Oil Shampoo is really suitable for sensible scalp);
    • although it is pretty moisturizing, it is not enough to “feed” the hair. I also feel the need for conditioner, styling cream and nourishing oils;
    • the shine it gives is moderate, but pretty good;
    • the hair is slightly less frizzy;
    • it is fluid and I tend to use it a lot, so I would finish a bottle of shampoo in about 45 days.

    Conclusion: The Moroccan Oil Moisture and shine Shampoo is the best shampoo I’ve ever used, although it is not as good as I hoped it would be.

    If you are in doubt about purchasing this shampoo or if you have questions about it, leave them here and I will try to answer them.
