REVIEW: Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum

The Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum was the most expensive hair serum I’ve ever bought. I paid 36$ for 30 ml.

Before buying the product, I watched many of the Kerastase’s own hair tutorials and it seemed that the product makes wonders.

I am writing this review after I used almost all of this product, so this is definitely not a first impression review. Also, I took this photo below after I finished the Kerastase serum and bought a new, Wella, serum.

What does Kerastase Touche Finale Polishing Serum promise to do?

On their website it sais that the product is: “A high-shine polishing serum that perfects all hair surfaces with touchable softness and luminosity.

  • Radiant shine
  • Polishing effect
  • UV filter
  • Anti-frizz and humidity protection”

What does it really do?

Well, almost nothing. It smells nice and detangles the hair, but that’s pretty it. It has zero “polishing effect”, zero “radiant shine”, zero “anti-frizz and humidity protection” and I don’t know about the UV filter, but it seems pretty useless.

I will never buy this product again because it is so expensive and useless.

Anyhow, reading their website, I see that this product was discontinued. Well, this sums it up. :/

A new product

I see now that there is this new product, L’incroyable Blowdry Lotion.

Reading on Kerastase’s website about what it should do, it almost tempts me to buy it…

Extremely Repositionable, unparalleled shape memory, 96 hour extreme anti-fizz control, 450° thermo-protection.

Hmm… Sounds so tempting… 😀 But I am really afraid it would be just another disappointment. Who knows, maybe I’ll decide to try it. I’ll let you know 🙂
