Bathroom decoration: the 3 seashells

While surfing the internet, I came across a great idea for bathroom decoration! *insert giggle*

For those who don’t know what this is about, there was this movie, Demolition Man (1993), where a 20th Century Sylvester Stallone wakes up in a high-tech future. Everything is nice and sleek, cars drive themselves, people are very advanced and you get a ticket if you swear. Stallone needs to use the toilet and when he needs to wipe his ass he sees no toilet paper, but only 3 seashells.

When he gets out of the bathroom, he asks the future-people: “How do you use the 3 seashells?”. His interlocutors star laughing, considering that he is very uncivilized since he doesn’t know how to use them.

As a kid, I always fantasized about how these seashells were supposed to be used… How do you thing the 3 seashells should be used?

Anyhow, this iconic movie scene inspired some people to add 3 seashells somewhere in their bathroom and I think this is a great, funny idea.

Maybe next time I go to the beach I will search for the perfect 3 seashells for my bathroom 🙂
